In the age of information overload, online rumors are rampant—generalizing from limited evidence, fabricating falsehoods out of thin air, distorting facts, and equivocating to grab attention and drive traffic. If left unchecked, such rumors can severely disrupt the order of cyberspace and even spark public panic. Let us join together in saying “no” to online misinformation. The internet knows no borders, but speech does have limits. Every citizen should stay clear-headed, sharpen their critical thinking, and refrain from creating, believing, or spreading unverified information.
